If you buy a brand new saddlechariot a manual is included with it. If you buy a secondhand saddlechariot and it doesn't come with a manual then we can provide one at the following costs -

Due to the increase of costs over the last year we have no choice but to increase the price of the Saddlechariot.

Prices and Specifications
Saddlechariot BB
The saddlechariot BB is made of mild steel galvanized which protects the metal inside and out, giving it long life, with an aluminium treadplate floor.
It has a low point of gravity making it stable over all surfaces, with a width of 95cm with a ground clearance of 17cm, it will fit through all legal gates on footpaths and bridlepaths, giving you access to a wide variety of areas.
It has a unique quick release system, allowing you to release the pony/horse from the vehicle at any speed, but you must step off.
We advise the safety strap is around your wrist or body, there is no need to pull the safety strap once you have stepped off.
It is a truly fun vehicle but with an addition of a tow hitch on the back allowing you to pull many implements e.g trailer, chain harrow or roller.
The vehicle will pull considerable weight but the pony/horse needs to be fit and a suitable size for the weight being pulled.
They are all manufactured in our workshop to a high standard. They all have common component parts but we assemble them to suit your pony/horse.
They will fit pony/horse 33" upwards.

iBex
The iBex is a 3 wheeled vehicle with a treadplate floor,wide front wheels with a small jockey wheel for ease of turning. It was originally designed for disabled use allowing a wheelchair to sit comfortably and securely, but is also as equally suitable as a 2 to 3 seat standard vehicle. It is made of mild steel galvanized which protects the metal inside and out, giving it long life.
It has a low point of gravity making it stable over all surfaces, with a width of 130cm and 15cm ground clearance , making it accessible to a lot of areas.
It has a quick release system allowing you to release the pony/horse from the vehicle at any speed without leaving the vehicle.
We advise the safety strap is around your wrist, body or someone else with you. A single strap or multiple straps can be tied to the cord around the shaft, giving the additional person the freedom to release the pony/horse should the need arise.
It is designed to fit British standard wheelchairs, at the point of ordering we will ask for the size of the wheelchair and can adjust the vehicle slightly to take bigger ones. It has 4 anchor points to secure the wheelchair.
The iBex with seat will carry 2 adults comfortably or if used around the farm will carry a bale of hay etc.
The iBex will fit pony/horse 33" upwards.

If you're considering buying both vehicles using the same pony/horse it would be possible to use the shafts and harness from one vehicle to the other. This will reduce the cost so contact us for further details. If you're a land owner or estate owner or access provider, this is a great, safe and reliable way to give access for disabled people. It's a great way of giving access to less accessible areas for the disabled and can be a viable business. We can also offer advice and training.
